The Most Revd Dr. Paul KWONG

He is the Archbishop and Primate of Hong Kong who was trained and graduated at Church Divinity School of the Pacific in 1982. In the same year, he was made deacon. A year later, he was ordained priest. He was consecrated bishop in 2006 and was elected Archbishop in 2007.

Since assuming the post of Archbishop, he has paid a lot of attention to exchanges between churches and other regional bodies including the Church in China and in the Anglican Communion. He was the Chair of the Council of Church in East Asia until 2015 (a regional Anglican body). He is the Chair of The Standing Committee of the Anglican Consultative Council.

He is an author of a book “Identity in Community: A Relevant Theological Agenda for Hong Kong SAR” published by LIT VERLAG, ZURICH, 2011.
